Matthew Martin is Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel for Penguin Random House. Matthew is a graduate of Connecticut College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies, and The College of William and Mary, where he earned his law degree.
He has devoted his entire career to work as an in-house publishing attorney, first for the Putnam Publishing Group in the late 1980’s, then with HarperCollins in the 1990’s, before joining Bantam Doubleday Dell in 1997. That company was merged into Random House, which in 2013 was then merged with Penguin to form today’s Penguin Random House.
